Exploring Sikkim in North East

As we all are aware that Covid -19 Pandemic had totally made difficult to travel anywhere around the world. And here let me share a quick experience of exploring Sikkim in North East. Being a hard core traveler, the thought of not moving out of the house for so many months was making me depressed and frustrated. But as they say life is full of surprises. You never know what happens next. The day came when my wedding was fixed and I had to plan for my honeymoon destination. My fiancée gave me the responsibility of finding out the best honeymoon destination for us.

Considering the covid situation, I started searching places within India. After searching and studying a lot on destinations, I decided to explore Sikkim in North East. While reading some articles of journeys in North India, I came to know about the difficult road conditions, long hours journeys, lack of network connections, poor accommodation facilities and many more. I always believe that life is an adventure which you should dare it. Until and unless you visit the place physically, you will never come to know it’s beauty. Keeping all the negativity aside and without any hesitation, I fixed Sikkim as my honeymoon destination. And I am glad to share that Sikkim made my belief come true.

So, Why Sikkim?

Its a very happening place were you can enjoy life at fullest. Sikkim is a journey to a place which is an amalgamation of snow-clad pristine Himalayan Mountains, mesmerizing valleys adorned with vibrant rhododendron flowers, sparkling waterfalls, icy lakes, beautiful quaint villages, yummy local cuisine, ancient Monasteries, and a perfect shopping destination as well as many other attractions which can only be a life-changing experience. The thing which I loved most while travelling in Sikkim was the generosity of the Sikkimese people. People here are open minded, warm hearted, simple and friendly in nature just as colorful as the land. Apart from this, the northern part of Sikkim amazed me with different Regiments, Armour, Tanks, Shelling Equipment’s.
