Ralang Monastery is one of the most significant and sacred monasteries in South Sikkim, located about 6 km from Ravangla. The monastery was built to commemorate the pilgrimage of the fourth Chogyal of Sikkim to Tibet. It hosts important religious festivals like Pang Lhabsol and the traditional Cham dance each year. Titanic Viewpoint
Situated at Ralong, South Sikkim, Titanic view point stands at an elevation of 5,500 ft overlooking the breathtaking backdrop of enchanting Himalayan landscapes and mountain peaks. The view point also offers breath taking view of River Rangeet streaming at the bottom of the valley and is considered to be the Tourist Attractions in Ravangla. The view point gained its name because of its resemblance to the bow of the ship of Titanic.
Hotsprings
The hot-springs of Ralong and Borong are 7 kms apart and an hour or two-hour long trek from Ralong. The water of the hot springs contains rich sulphur, and people believe it has medicinal properties which therefore cure different ailments.
Doling Monastery
Doling monastery is one of the most popular monasteries of Sikkim. It is located in Barfung Village, a few kilometers away from the town of Ravangla. The monastery follows the Nyingmapa sect of Buddhism and, is famous for the stone bearing the footprint of Dorjelingpa and Kanchendzonga’s Horse.
Bon Monastery
Located in Kewzing, Bon Monastery ranks among the two monasteries of the Bon sect in India, the other one being in Himachal Pradesh. Paintings of Bon deities adorn the walls, and chants echo in the surroundings, creating a completely meditative and serene atmosphere.
